Frequently Asked Questions, FAQ

Why do I need a HRV if I already have an air conditioner?

A HRV differs from an air conditioner in that it helps to refresh the air in an apartment rather than pumping the same air masses repeatedly through a cooling device.

Thus, to get fresh air, users of air conditioners sooner or later have to open the window, which leads to significant temperature drops, penetration of dust and dirt, and high levels of noise coming from outside.

Besides, during wintertime operation of the vast majority of air conditioners used for domestic needs is prohibited, while HRVs are not subject to such restrictions and they can be operated all year round, maintaining a comfortable room temperature with no problems.
